The purpose of this data set is to document vegetation damage and recovery following Hurricane Hugo, a borderline category 3-4 hurricane with winds from 130 to 160mph (110kts) and a pressure of 945 to 946.1 mb, which hit Puerto Rico in September 18th, 1989.
