Synthesis and characterization of monodisperse oligonucleotide-polypeptide di- and triblock copolymers are described. These block copolymers are promising building blocks for the formation of defined structures by sequential DNA self-assembly. The oligonucleotide sequences (ODN, 46 bases) obtained from standard solid phase synthesis were designed to form four-arm DNA junctions.
