Sound-ranging meteorological requirements (preliminary report)

During September and December, 1965, trials were held at Camp Shilo, Manitoba, to study the effects of meteorological conditions on sound transmission paths, to determine the meteorological requirements for sound ranging, and to study methods of applying meteorological corrections to locations made by sound randing.
