Strong magnets with a high energy product are vital when optimizing the efficiency in the electricindustry. This can be achieved by making spring-exchange coupled magnets. Samples have beenmade by partly reducing CoFe2O4 to CoFe2 creating easily a spring-exchange coupled magnetswith 10 times increase in energy product compared to pure CoFe2O4.
