Doping Effects on Electronic Phase Separation in CaFe3O5

Our recent study of CaFe3O5 revealed a remarkable discovery of electronic phase separation, similar to examples widely reported in manganite perovskites. Electronic phase separation is known to be very sensitive to perturbations so we areinvestigating effects of substituting Fe2+ by Co2+ or Mn2+. We have succeeded in preparing CaFe3-xMxO5 (M = Co, Mn) up to x = 0.5. High resolution PND is needed to observe phase separation and magnetic peaks in x = 0.01, 0.05,...
